Wildlife Safety Yard Signs
Temporary, seasonal, and variable message signs are an effective method of alerting drivers to slow down and be mindful of wildlife on the roadways.
To help reduce Wildlife-Vehicle Collisions (WVCs) the Willowbrook Wildlife Committee is pleased to offer these Wildlife Safety Yard Signs. Designed by Colorado Graphic Artist Craig Rouse, residents may download and print these yard signs, and place them at critical areas in your neighborhood. Especially in Spring and Summer, during Fawn Season (May through October), families of Mule Deer are traversing our streets and are most vulnerable to be hit by cars.
To print your own signs, download the PDFs below and contact your local printing company. Signs are usually 16x24 inches, printed on both sides, and mounted on H-Stakes.
Please note: Signs must be placed on private property, with the permission of the property owner. Signs on major roadways must adhere to the Jeffco Regulatory Policy on Signs in the County Right-of-Way, and at least 25 feet from the center traffic line and at least 9 feet from the edge of the asphalt.
