To help keep Bears wild and keep ourselves, our homes and our loved ones out of harm's way, take The Bear Pledge!

Colorado Parks & Wildlife created the "Keep Bears Wild Pledge" to remind us of good habits and positive attitudes to adopt as we share our habitat with our wild neighbors.

Click on the PDF to the left to print.

In addition to posting the pledge in your home as a reminder, you can fill it out and mail it to CP&W and receive a window decal!  Our District Wildlife Manager is Jerrie McKee.

About

The Willowbrook Wildlife Committeepart of the Willowbrook HOA, is dedicated to providing educational information about the plants, insects, birds, and animals who call Willowbrook home—for a season or for a lifetime.

Commercial and residential development, along with climate change and other alterations displace birds and animals from their existing natural habitats.  The Wildlife Committee is committed to being a strong advocate to protect the wildlife here in Willowbrook.

Education, conservation, and stewardship are imperative for our community to live in harmony with our natural environment.

The Wildlife Committee encourages all Willowbrook residents to learn and employ conscientious stewardship practices to protect and preserve the animals, birds, insects, plants, and trees entrusted to our care in this very special place.

This website is provided as a service to the residents of Willowbrook.

Our meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of each month.  All are welcome.  Contact Us for more information.

A small community can make a big difference!

Living with Wildlife

In these pages you will find practical information to help protect your home, children and pets, and at the same time, discover ways to respect our Wild Residents--their natural behaviors, seasonal changes, and their habitats.

Species Spotlights

Each month we highlight a bird, animal, insect, or reptile, to provide in-depth information about our Wild Neighbors.

Events & Programs

We bring in experts from a variety of fields for informative discussions and educational presentations on topics unique to Willowbrook.

You'll also discover resources to continue your exploration of wildlife, plants, and birds, including links to PlantSelect (native plants), Colorado Parks & Wildlife, the Audubon Society, and much more!
